2020 Report and documents
Department of Economic Theory at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb welcomed a total of 49 delegates from 7 countries to the 1st International Interdepartmental Conference “30 Years of Transition – Results, Challenges and Perspectives“ between 19 and 20 November 2020. The conference included 2 keynote speeches, a panel discussion and 4 plenary sessions, which included 25 presentations.
The 1st International Interdepartmental Conference “30 Years of Transition – Results, Challenges and Perspectives“ was organized as an online event, due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. During the two conference days, delegates had the opportunity to share findings from research and experiences in all fields of economic theory, economic policies, political economy and other research areas in economics.
The theme of the conference was 30 Years of Transition – Results, Challenges and Perspectives, which represents a shared history for countries the delegates were from. Researchers and educators shared their research, but also new information and insights from their teaching experience and challenges they encounter in teaching courses in economic theory.
